SANDRA GAUDENZI PRIVATE PRIMATE

MARK ATKIN

GENERAL GIBBON

SANDRA Private Primate is proud of being a soldier of the lowest military rank within the order of mammals that believes to be the most advanced of its kind. Convinced that having no ruling agenda is the best way to stay open minded, Private Primate invites you to observe the species first and then to dare to re-invent it!

In her human form, Sandra consults, researches, lectures, writes and blogs about interactive factual narratives.

She is one of the co-directors of the i-Docs conference, Head of Studies of !F Lab - an EU training initiative for interactive documentary makers - and is currently designing an MA in Interactive Factual Narrative for the University of Westminster (due to start in September 2016)

TOM MILLEN

LIEUTENANT LEMUR

TOM is an inquisitive monkey - he loves to get his hands on the newest tech gizmos and thingamajiggies. Always on the hunt for the next big thing, he tends to say ‘Cool!’ a lot. This monkey is not just an idle consumer though, Tom loves to get creative and dream about what is nearly possible.

In human form Tom works at Crossover Labs, specialising in the production and exhibition of immersive content as well as arranging cross media training and events. He was previously responsible for coordinating the Alternate Realities strand at Sheffield Doc/Fest where he over saw the production of the interactive exhibition, VR Arcade and year round cross media training.

TOBY Coffey is Head of Digital Development for the National Theatre. His role is responsible for the creative and technical development of the digital interfaces between the NT and its audiences. Toby develops forms of digital engagement and interaction around the NT and its productions. Relevant areas include VR, 360 film, online, UX, cross-platform, app development, digital publishing, interactive installations, AR, transmedia and documentary production. He has 15 years expertise in the digital arena from creative, technical, production and social perspectives.

ANNETTE (a) Mayor Monkey - a bit of a rebel, driven by curiosity and attracted by adventure and all things of the beaten track. She likes inventing new things with interdisciplinary bands of brothers with a wide variety of expertise. She successfully plundered ways of working from theatre, film, music, design and any other genre she can get her hands on. She secretly is trying to change the world.

In human form, Annette is and award winning artist and creative director. She is one of the leading experts in responsive theatre and narratives in the UK - stories which respond to the audience and change each time they are played. She develops interactive projects, advises and speaks nationally and internationally on audience interaction, the integration of live and digital work and how to make beautiful experiences that allow for a real dialogue with audiences. She is the former artistic director of Coney and is currently Creative Fellow of WIRED Magazine and The Space.

ALEX an irreverent and playful primate. The Colonel is experimental and entirely platform agnostic; enjoying nothing more than smashing things together to see what works. He is a social ape and loves exploring participatory narratives with other monkeys.

In human form, Alex is a Transmedia Producer working in interactive factual . He has a background in film, both as a maker and within the various business sectors of that industry. Additionally, he runs and teaches transmedia storytelling at a number of international festivals.

ZEYNEP a most curious one. She is excited by the old and the new and their combinations and their variations. She constantly explores how seemingly irrelevant concepts and mediums work together, and is kind of stubborn to make them work.

In human form, Zeynep is a Transmedia Producer, working on seemingly irrelvant projects all at once. 2 documentaries and a video game is what she is up to at the moment. She recently finished her masters on screen studies. She is a special effects veteran, having made too many zombies.
